VillaWare® Joins Channel 4’s Cookery School

It has been reported that Britain has lost the art of cooking and in a bid to get people back into the kitchen, Channel 4 have launched a new television programme Cookery School.
In this daily cookery show, chefs Gizzi Erskine and Richard Corrigan will be teaching people the secrets of great cooking. In addition to learning some fantastic culinary skills, the students will also get hands on experience of some of the best kitchen equipment available including a selection of small appliances from VillaWare® brand. Adored by people with a passion for cooking and desired by those who want beautiful designs in their kitchen, the VillaWare® brand collection comprises products that combine state of the art technology with style, durability and ease of use.
Cookery School will cover a huge range of techniques and recipes from soufflés to sauces and spatchcocking to spun sugar. Each week, six home cooks are pushed to produce the perfect dish. They are all attempting to win a prestigious place in the finals. The students have to make a three course meal that tastes as good as it looks and if they don’t make the grade then they will be sent home. There will be 50 x 1 hour programmes in the series, which starts on Channel 4 on Monday 31st January 2011.
Gizzi Erskine is a food writer, chef and food writer and she is co-hosting the series with Richard Corrigan, a Michelin-starred chef who is currently the Chef/Patron at Corrigan’s Mayfair.
Cookery School will be using a selection of products from the VillaWare® brand range in their kitchens including the Food Processor, Blender, Juice Extractor and Espresso Maker.
